For this assignment, you will use the same case study of Ji-woo. Create an assessment summary FIRST
before developing the treatment plan. This treatment plan will address both the addiction and any cooccurring mental health diagnoses identified (PTSD). The conclusions reached in Unit 5 assignment
regarding the specific DSM-based diagnoses, strengths, and challenges should take into consideration with
(SUBSTANCE MISUSE AND PTSD). Follow the template provided to formulate a treatment plan for Jiwoo (ATTACHED).
Assignment Instructions
• Presents and expand on the summary of the assessment process noting the limitations and outstanding
issues requiring further exploration Based on A5-Ji-woo doc.
• Identify an appropriate counseling theory that will guide interventions to work with the client and family
system (SOLUTION FOCUSED THERAPTY BRIEF) based on literature support.
• Analyzes systemic interventions as they apply to her PTSD and substance misuse issues and cites scholarly
sources
• Analyze the cultural considerations for Ji-woo, how the theory will guide multicultural appropriate
application and cites scholarly sources
• Based upon the assessment summary, analyze the appropriate level of care.
• Analyze systemic interventions addressing how to include the primary support persons in treatment.
• Analyze multiple referrals and an in-depth plan to coordinate with other professionals for Ji-woo that may
