Automation In Biomedical Science

Information will be provided for a consolidation case of three hospitals merging into one laboratory service.
The students will need to look at the different diagnostic companies and to consolidate the three sites to a
single provider. The students should consider workload, turn around times, hot lab or point of care testing
availability with technical detail, human resource aspets and cost savings (if any). The layout of the portfolio
is up to the student with no set inclusion or presentation style. The portfolio will be submitted in written form
with a maximum text limit of 4500 words
An electronic copy of the case study, presentation and portfolio must be submitted via Turnitin for
assessment of academic integrity. Please note the comment on on- line submission on page four of this
document.
