Company and is required to support their decision making and business planning. Your submission should
consist of the following:
1. An executive summary (max. 400 words)
2. An analysis of the current business (approx. 1,000 – 1,200 words)
3. Your advice to the company on appropriate KPI’s (approx. 300 words)
4. An analysis of the new business opportunity including conclusion (approx. 1,000 words)
The appendices to this report should include:
1. A summary SWOT analysis on the business
2. The latest set of financial statements for the business plus a confirmation statement, both produced in a
format suitable for filing at Companies House
3. The calculation of 5 relevant ratios to support section 2
4. A project appraisal calculation of the new business opportunity

Feedback /Marking criteria for this Assignment
Performance will be assessed using HBS Grading Criteria and Mark scheme.
Guidance for improvement will be given in writing on the Assessment Feedback Form or on the StudyNet Feedback Form within 4 weeks of submission.
Late assignments will be penalised as follows:
• For up to 5 days after the published deadline coursework will have the numeric grade reduced by 10 grade points per day for each day or part thereof. Where the numeric grade is less than 40 no lateness penalty will be applied.
• Coursework submitted later than 5 days after the published deadline will be awarded a grade of zero (0)
Plagiarism offences will receive standard penalties. .
