Chlamydia Pneumoniae

Describe the immune response to Chlamydia pneumoniae. This is an obligate intracellular pathogen which is gram negative. It has LPS on the cell wall as well as mannose. Please describe the first, second, and third lines of defense to this pathogen. Please describe all cell types that we have discussed and both intracellular and extracellular responses. Include activation of cells where we have discussed and effector responses. You do not need to discuss production of naive cells and the underlying processes involved there.
Talk about this in time and space. In other words. start with what happens first and then move forward (i.e. First line of defense is first!). Include all the innate immune cells.
