Coca-Cola Company Diversification

Perform an analysis of the COCA-COLA COMPANY and identify two industries into which that
company should consider diversifying. Use the uploaded “Shake Shack” paper as an example.
This is for a Master’s level strategic management course.
There was a part 1 for this project. I have attached that file as well. The directions for part 1 were as
follows:
Identify a publically traded company you would like to work for within the next five years. Your
deliverable at this stage should include a one page, single spaced document that
a. identifies the company you plan to examine including a brief (1 paragraph)
description of the company, the primary industry in which it operates (including the NAICS code of the
industry)
b. A brief description of any noteworthy strengths the company has and/or challenges the company is
facing
The feedback that was provided for part 1 (the paper attached) is listed below:
“Nice job. Try to be a bit more comprehensive in your analysis.In considering strengths/weaknesses, you
need to consider the international environment. Domestically, the issue of health consciousness (moving a
way from carbonated drink) is a challenge for the company and has led to some diversification. The brand
name is widely recognized around the world and is a plus but can the fact that it is an American company
be a negative in areas where US foreign policy is seen as hostile?”
