The essay consists in a detailed discussion of the language and motif of nonsense in both Lewis Carroll’s Alice books – Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass. The aim of the essay is to prove the student’s ability to analyse a literary text and use adequate critical terminology.
