RE-WRITE THIS RESEARCH PROPOSAL BASED ON THE PROBLEM STATEMENT HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW, AND THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT 2.3. Please do not refer to CDPLC as a gadget, but rather technological system or internet system.
Specifically, present a one paragraph background of the topic area. Then, write one paragraph that contains your problem statement (start this paragraph with, “The problem to be addressed in this study is”).
Then, provide one to three overarching research question(s) that, if answered, would accomplish the goals of your research and resolve all/part of the research problem. Finally, write one quantitative hypothesis to test in this proposed study. Remember, a hypothesis is a supposition about a relationship between variables, so focus on one variable having an effect on another.

Background Information on the Topic area
Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications is an internet technology that is used in passenger planes to allow communications between Air Traffic management and the cabin crew. The flight’s controllers and the pilot can communicate with each other to promote smooth navigation among the two airplanes. However, there is concern that the product is susceptible to internet and distractions because of the affordability rate of software-defined radios that are compatible with the gadget(Di Marco et al., 2016). The Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications are considered prone to air traffic and as such may result in single fatal plane crashes that may cause much loss of lives of passengers and the Cabin Crew. The research is based around evaluating the CPDLC, understanding its properties and establishing the possible threats while finding the solutions.
Problem Statement
The problem statement to be explored in this researcher is that Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) is susceptible to internet attacks and disruptions because of the availability of affordable software devices such as software-defined radios (Gurtor&Wernberg, 2018). Additionally, the products are seen to be affected by air traffic which may result in the communication compromised (Gurtov,Polishchuk, & Wernberg, 2018). Such a property may be aspect impacts on connectivity, making the product a cause of concern for the safety of the people in the aeroplane. Being vulnerable to hacking and other internet-based threats results in the need for established solutions for the product.
Research Problem: The Controller-Pilot Data Link Communication gadget is prone to a lot of threats which may result in a lot of damage if not carefully addressed for air management and pilots in managing air traffic.
Research Question 1: The research question will focus on the various properties of the Controller-Pilot Data Link communication that make it prone to multiple and possible threats.
Research Question 2: The research question that this work will explore is the evaluation of the scope of the threat that the Controller-Pilot Data Link is prone to and how it affects the operations of the aeroplane and cause a safety concern.
Research Question 3: The research question focuses on what the possible solutions to the exiting threats of the Controller-Pilot Data Link and the recommendations that could be made to improve the effectiveness of the product and its performance.
Hypothesis:Data will be collected through a literature review on existing information in regards to the Controller-Pilot Data Link and its use among the air space technological developers. An analysis of the possible records of the use of the gadget would increase the information on the device, and its effectiveness in managing the air traffic and ensuring effective communication among the pilots and air management crew (Judd & Vise, 2018). Both qualitative and quantitative data is needed to ensure that the scope of the performance of the gadget is well understood before any recommendations can be offered. A practical testing approach would be the use of the FANS testing as the device is simulated in an environmental testing demonstration of its use (Krishna, Ramaiah & Pepitone, 2018).
Ha: Enhancement of the Controller-Pilot Data Link to utilize properties that do not make it prone to threats in aeroplane use through communication by pilots and traffic managers.
Ho: Enhancing the Controller-Pilot Data Link does not entirely solve the challenge of threats associated with the gadget, especially in the use of the device in air traffic management.
