Write a 5-6 paragraph paper about how health status is determined, and explain the role the health care system plays in improving health status. Be certain to properly cite and list your resources at the conclusion of your paper.

In your paper, include the following:
1. Define health status and describe how it is measured. (2 points)
2. Explain the role the government plays in impacting the health status of the general population. (3 points)
3. Research and identify at least two tactics providers use in an effort to improve a patients’ overall health status. Do you think these are effective? Are the measures related to government actions such as a guideline laid out by the government? (5 points)
4. Based on the research completed for this assignment, what do you think could be done to improve the overall health status of our nation? Do you feel the government should play more of a role in this? (5 points)
