Assignment Overview
For this written assignment, you will be reviewing two videos related to an evaluation of an electronic monitoring (ELMO) program.
• Watch the News21 Video “Tracked: A Week Under GPS Supervision”
• Watch the WGN7 Investigates Video “Cook County Sheriff Says ‘Communities will be Safer’ in Regards to Changes in Electronic Monitoring”
Chapter 11 in the textbook describes two studies on the evaluation of ELMO programs (pages 293-296). After reviewing the two videos, summarize your findings from each of the programs. If you are an officer in charge of evaluating the ELMO program for the county court, how would you design and implement the evaluation in terms of program goals, sample selection, randomization, treatment integrity, and outcome measures? Explain your design along with these five stages.

You may use the textbook as a reference source. Submit a typed, single-spaced, Word document (.doc or .docx) and upload to this assignment.  In addition, as this is an upper-level class, it is expected that you will write on an upper-level college basis. Papers will be critiqued for content and clarity of analysis as well as grammar. APA style should be used for all source citations and references.
