Discussion: Peer Feedback: Implementation Strategy
An effective Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) includes a proposal of action or implementation strategy. This strategy allows evaluators to address areas in need of improvement by specifying new initiatives and/or current initiatives that need to be modified or discontinued. It also allows evaluators to explain how resources will be allocated to meet these changes. In this Discussion, you post your preliminary implementation strategy for your colleagues to review. Then, you examine your colleagues’ implementation strategies and provide constructive feedback on their proposed initiatives and resource allocations.
To prepare for this Discussion, review your CIP and think about any insights you have gained regarding measures being used by your organization as well as the findings from your SWOT analysis from Module 3. Then, review the Learning Resources and think about what you want to do for your implementation strategy. Consider the initiatives you want to implement, the initiatives you want to modify or discontinue, and the resource allocations focusing on cost, productivity, and the goals of the organization.
Part 1
By Day 3 of Week 6
Post a brief summary of your CIP. Explain any insights you have gained regarding measures being used by your organization and the findings from your SWOT analysis.
Part 2
By Day 7 of Week 6
Post an explanation of your preliminary implementation strategy. Provide your rationale for the initiatives you want to implement, the initiatives you want to modify or discontinue, and the resource allocations focusing on cost, productivity, and the goals of the organization. Include citations to Learning Resources and/or peer-reviewed journal articles to support your explanation.
