• Summarize the characteristics of the approach of the research article you chose during your literature search. (Header: Research Approach – use PDF 3W)
• Summarize the research article, including the citation and sufficient information for others to locate the article. (Header: Article Summary or Analysis)
• Present a short critique of that article based on the “R8360 Guidelines for Reading and Evaluating Qualitative Research Articles” document. (Header: Article Critique; Sub Headings as/if needed)
Please include:
Small/Brief intro
Minimum of 3 in-text citations throughout (APA, 7th Ed)
Short but strong conclusion
Part 2 Activity (W):
Add to or refine your research problem and purpose statement process. Add other comments that summarize the development of your research ideas.
Part 3 Activity (J):
Answer the following:
• Progress: What has been happening in the course since the previous entry?
• Problems: What obstacles/challenges have you faced with regard to the course and with regard to developing your research question and approach for your Final Project?
Tip#1: Expand on navigating through the new student portal to become better acclimated with features to streamline my communication and ability to reference tools and resources for success in the course.
Tip#2: Expand on sharing challenges for the research itself – is the topic hard to follow, find credible articles for? Etc.
• Plans: Look toward the next week. What challenges are you considering to resolve? Consider how your idea for your research project is evolving
Tip#1: Expand on ways to incorporate dedicated time to review the new platform. Building into a priority matrix, as an added independent activity
Tip#2: Expand on the potential of the research topic regarding how it can or is evolving
