Software Design specification and prototype / research hypothesis methodology and research data collection

This must include : 1 Natural Language Spec 2 Personas of all user types 3 Flow charts of the main processes 4 Wireframes 5 Digital Porotype/MVP of the proposed system. Teacher: No, you can use the app as the front end you just need to get it working. I don’t think this will be that hard to do as just registering someone and then sending an alert to the server isn’t that complicated. You can also use those first few screens you have done in the app as the basis for the prototype which is the next thing you have to hand in. The working prototype isn’t due till April so you have lots of time to sort that out. What your task is for the next part i​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍​s to first work out what all the screens would look like in a final version of the app you can do this on paper to start with then move to something like figma and just import the graphics and layouts you already have but add the other screens (i.e probably a home screen that the users see’s after registering or logging in that has the alert button on it or something like that, maybe a screen to edit the contact details if they change). So if you look at an app like bSafe (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bipper.app.bsafe&hl=en_GB&gl=US) you can see that it has a ‘guardians’ screen where you put your contacts and an SOS screen with the alert button on it, those two would be enough for a functional final app. Their app and others like it have other features that it’s worth looking at as you might get some ideas for stuff for or at least get some background knowledge of the marketplace which is useful if you use the project in a job interview later on. The design specification is easy once you know what the app is going to do. The natural language spec and personas are pretty obvious, the wireframe can be just be photo of the paper prototype (you can actually print out wireframe style sheets to draw on if you want and then photograph them with your phone), the prototype is just figma or something like that. You have already proposed an app so moving to a research project now would be difficult as you should have already proposed a research question in the first instance. The data collection is more meant to mean what are called ‘structured interviews’ with industry professionals rather than just surveys, although they are usually part of it as well (in the ones I have supervised previously). Getting the contacts in industry and designing the interviews needs a fair bit of research as well​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍​.
