You will also learn about the various treatment approaches used with survivors. To further examine other key issues associated with sexual violence, you will begin by watching the documentary, The Hunting Ground. Then review the assigned course readings and resources found in Module 4 (particularly focusing on Chapter 9 in your textbook and the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network website). Next, you will evaluate the issues highlighted in the documentary using the concepts and ideas in the text. As you reflect on sexual violence and rape myths, you will want to discuss and analyze how advocacy efforts and the roles played by universities and other groups can aid in challenging people’s perceptions of sexual violence.
