Storybook Project Plan

Storybook Project Plan

Overview: The Bible is God’s grand story of creation, fall, and redemption. It is a vast collection of narrative, history, law, poetry, biography, and letters written by many authors over hundreds of years – and yet the Bible tells a unified story of God’s continuous work to bring redemption and reconciliation to the world. You will create a Storybook that places the people and events of Exodus and Deuteronomy within the larger biblical themes of creation, fall, and redemption. To do this, choose an audience for your Storybook (i.e. children, youth, or adult) and create a book or video project that incorporates engaging images, scholarly research, and personal application.

Instructions: This outline will help you organize your Storybook, and it will prepare you as you begin to build out your story. Please follow the prompts in the template and fill out each section completely so that your instructor can give you feedback.

Who is your audience?

Who is the target audience for your Storybook? Are they elementary age children, middle or high school students, young adults, older adults, or another age group? How much does your audience know about the Bible? This can be a fictional audience, but having a specific audience will direct how you present the content of your Storybook.
