Media Analysis Content: For the media analysis students will select one of the movies or series episodes
listed below and analyze them by using 3 relevant and recent peer-reviewed journal articles and the course
materials. The analysis should refer at least two of the topics covered in this course. (E.g. police selection and
police stress, or police use of force and crisis intervention etc.) The analysis should have a major argument or
thesis that focuses on what psychological theory and research has to say about the events, themes, and people
seen in the chosen movie. For example, if the topic was Investigative Interviewing the thesis should
communicate some position on a best-practices approach to interviewing that extends from the research and
theory reviewed. In addition, the movie analysis should discuss how that best-practices approach could be
integrated based on critical reflection and analysis.Movie Related website
